How to Add a New Operator's RFID card using an RFID Reader

Learn how to add RFID numbers in the Tulip interface.

If you don't know the badge number on the RFID card, you can add it by plugging the RFID reader to your computer after creating the operator in Tulip.

This is done in a few simple steps:

1. Plug the RFID reader into the USB port on your computer
2. Within your Tulip account (https://your_account.tulip.co), navigate to Settings > Users
3. Select the “Create User” button to create a new user

Alternatively,

1. Click the Operator's name to edit their record.

2. Select "Edit" in the top right of the screen.

3. Click within the Badge ID field and scan the card.
4. Save the information that you’ve just entered by selecting “Make User”/“Save Changes”, whichever applies.
