We're excited to announce the release of Tulip Player version 2.2.1. This is a smaller release that addesses a few issues found in 2.2.0.
Version 2.2.1 of Player will be available for download by 9:00PM ET today! If you're using Player devices, the next time you restart the application, the application will automatically check for updates and prompt you to install the latest version. Alternatively, you can manually initiate the update process. Thank you for choosing Tulip, and we look forward to continuing to serve you!
Bugs Fixes and Performance Improvements
- Resolved an issue that prevented the initialization of Allied Vision cameras.
- Cognex-InSight driver: Addresses a problem where the "getImage" trigger was not functioning properly and the driver was not providing job results.
- Fixes to a bug in Player that caused vision functionality to be incompatible with older Factory versions in cases where cameras failed to provide their metadata to Player.
- Addressesed an issue where cameras were not being reported to the Tulip cloud when the Windows OS CA store contained the expired Let's Encrypt R3 CA certificate.
