Basic Templates for Building Tulip Applications

Article Summary

This is a set of templates to be used as a starting point for building Tulip applications

Purpose

The new set of templates for Tulip apps (Template Landscape Desktop Basic, Template Portrait Desktop Basic, Template Mobile Basic) serves as the starting point for creating new applications. These templates are not specific to any particular application type. Their purpose is to provide users with a blueprint containing basic design elements and transitions, allowing them to focus on adding triggers and logic. Overall, these templates serve as the fundamental building blocks for creating new Tulip apps.

Overview

Each template consists of a single step with a base layout. The header section of the step includes variables for the station name and the logged-in user name. Additionally, there is a Menu button with predefined open menu trigger logic. The footer section contains Previous and Next buttons, utilizing the default transition logic in Tulip. To use these templates, simply duplicate the relevant steps, add content and logic as needed. Further customization can be done by replacing the Tulip logo with the user's company logo, modifying the color palette, and resizing the content frames to fit the content itself.
We also offer more complex templates for both mobile and desktop applications.
