Color Configuration

The Color Configuration application teaches you to create and configure colors and color variables in Tulip apps.

Purpose

The Color Configuration application teaches you to create and configure colors and color variables in Tulip apps. This allows you to build interactive, intuitive, user-friendly apps for operators.

How it works

This application is built in order to allow you to build various color configurations which can seamlessly be used in Tulip applications through the use of color variables for text as well as shapes and buttons. When the application is opened, users see a variety of color options on the left, and a box displaying the loaded color on the right along with buttons to set various color variables. The user can then set colors for the backgrounds for the Instructions section, the Procedure section and the Task section. Similarly, users can then set colors for the titles for the Instructions section, the Procedure section and the Task section. Once the user has chosen his colors, they can click on create configuration, which creates the configuration and stores it into a Tulip table and applies it onto the next step to display how the configuration looks.
