This article describes the capabilities and configuration associated with the Digital Caliper driver in Tulip.

Capabilities

The Digital Caliper driver allows Tulip Apps to connect to many common Digital Caliper tools and receive measurements.

This driver is available for both the Windows-based Tulip Player and the Tulip IoT Gateway.

Events

The driver emits a single event: a "length" event that includes the data measured by the device.

Configuration

This device driver must be enabled in the Tulip Player's Driver Configuration Page or the Gateway Device Configuration page and the device must be connected.
