Factory 255 Release - June 2023

We're thrilled to announce the upcoming release, r255. With this release, you will see further improvements to Analytics including more graph types coming to the universal template and reorder of the format layer menu elements. Along with these changes, we have extended the icon library and resolved a number of small usability bugs.

UI Improvements

Icons Galore

As part of r255, we have extended the list of available icons that can be used on your buttons to include an operations section. Additionally, we have reorganized icons and move similar icons closer together.

Update to Player Buttons

We made some small improvements to the buttons within player to better align with the rest of the platform.

Configure the Barcode Scanner Widget

We have added configuration options to the Optical Barcode Scanner widget to adjust the area of the camera feed being scanned for barcodes to better match the aspect ratio of your barcodes.

Analysis and Charting

Title and Subtitle for More Chart Types

Title and subtitle settings are now available in the formatting panel for a single number, slideshow, and table visualizations, providing consistent customization options across all visualization types. This enhancement allows users to easily harmonize the appearance of their dashboards and reports for better presentation.

Unified Format Pannel Sections

We have reorganized the format panel sections across all analytics types to be consistent. Some analytics may not have access to all formatting options:

• Title & Subtitle
• X-Axis
• Y-Axis
• Series & Legend
• Header
• Data Labels
• Line
  

Added Gauge and Histogram Visualizations to the Universal Template

We have added a gauge chart visualization to the Universal Template within analytics. By default, this visualization will automatically set upper and lower bounds, but this can be overridden in the formatting panel.

Vision

Shift + Click Support in Detectors

Multiple regions can now be selected and common properties can be edited across all selected regions, streamlining the process to make bulk changes to multiple detectors.

Fixes, Bugs, and Performance Improvements

• Resolved issue where an erroneous back button was shown in the header ribbon of analytics where there wasn't a logical place to navigate to.
• Fixed an issue where the Badge ID field wasn't focused on when a user was logged out of Tulip Player.
• Resolved an issue where transition triggers unexpectedly timeout if they loop for too long.
• Fixed an issue where the LTS10 version of On Prem Connector Host was failing to report its version.
• On very high zoom levels or small page sizes, some left-side components were not scrollable, this has been resolved.
