    Mobile Operations App Suite


    Article summary

    This app suite provides users with a set of mobile applications whose goals are to improve and refine your cell management.

    Connected Tables

    The Tables that you will use throughout this app suite will be used and connected throughout your various applications. This allows you to have an easier user experience as well as a network of tables that can be used with development of future applications.
    Learn more about how the tables will minimize redundancy and maximize compatibility through using a using a common data model.

    Get familiar with the common tulip tables used throughout the cMES.

    Configure Apps

    NOTE

    While configuring applications, any changes made to tables need to be made across all applications for connectivity.

    App Suite contains 6 applications.

    AI OCR Reader

    This application is designed to extract text from a photo that was taken or imported to the app, with the help of AI function.

    This application is a plug and play app, only need to install it from the library.

    The app does not contain any tables.

    Machine Startup Checklist

    This app serves as an example of a checklist in Tulip. Feel free to use it as a template when building your own checklist applications.

    This app is ready to use immediately after installation. Simply select Run or Test. However, you have the freedom to adjust it to better align with your processes.

    The app does not contain any tables.

    Maintenance Order Execution

    The Maintenance Order Execution app provides maintenance technicians with an easy way to review and execute open work orders. When work orders are complete, the app provides maintenance managers with a digital trail to increase production visibility and traceability.

    To prepare the application for production-use, the following configurations need to be made:

    Update Reason of Delays:
    Update the Reason of Delays step with information relevant to your operations

    Update Tables:
    Update Table (Physical Artifact) Equipment & Assets with the relevant equipment details (Or modify the app to query from a connector if you have existing equipment details on ERP

    The application utilizes the Tasks, Equipment & Assets tables. It uses the Tasks table to interact with, update and manage maintenance work orders. The application uses the Equipment & Assets table to interact with the equipments.

    Mobile Production Scorecard

    The application provides a simple solution for manually logging machine activity and displaying real-time yield and takt time calculations. Users can easily switch between the machine's statuses and log both good and bad parts during production.

    The Table used in the application is called Station Activity History. Each Record in the table is a station activity event that has a status. When using the application, data is logged in this table. The user can view the analysis of the table’s data on the Analytics step.

    Production Cell Overview App

    This application is meant to be used by production support staff, such as process engineers or quality engineers, who are responsible for the performance of production cells or systems. It provides a simple and effective navigation screen that lets you view and interact with the data being created by your cells.

    The application utilizes the Material Requests, Action, and Station tables. It uses the Station table to showcase station statuses. The Action table is used to showcase Quality, Safety, and Andon events, which are saved in the Action table as different types. Additionally, the application utilizes the Material Requests table to highlight material shortages on the shop floor.

    Mobile App Design Template

    The purpose of this app is to help app builders create user-friendly, consistent, and streamlined mobile applications. By building apps with the mobile experience in mind, they become more useful on mobile devices.

    The app provides an example of what a Tulip application looks like and showcases common step layouts that can be used in applications. It outlines the elements a base layout, header, and footer should contain, making it easy for app builders to get started with Tulip applications. The template significantly simplifies app building by allowing app builders to copy-and-paste step layouts into their applications. This not only saves time but also ensures a unified look for all the apps built using this guide.
