We are excited to announce the release of LTS16, the latest long-term support version of the On-Premises Connector Host.
With this release, the Connector Host now supports:
Standardization of Connector Host Environment Variables
We standardized Connector Host configuration around the TULIP_* environment variable naming convention, giving proxy and certificate settings consistent, predictable names across all deployment methods. Logging has been streamlined so the Connector Host now writes directly to standard output, letting you tail logs with docker logs or forward them to Datadog, Grafana Loki, or Splunk — and the older local log-file volume is no longer needed. We have also added two new environment variables to help in troubleshooting and support of the OPCH.
A few legacy environment variables were retired in this release, so customers upgrading from earlier versions should review their startup configuration against the updated deployment guide. More information about it here
arm64 support for the connector-host image
We added native arm64 (aarch64) support alongside the existing amd64 (x64) build to the OPCH Docker image. You can run the Connector Host on ARM-based hardware without emulation — no change to your docker run or docker pull commands is needed.
Reliability & diagnostics improvements
Internal observability across the Connector Host services was enhanced to speed up issue diagnosis.
