We are thrilled to announce the release of OS 61 on August 18th, 2025 which includes several exciting updates and improvements that we believe our users will appreciate. We strongly encourage all Edge Device users to upgrade to this latest release. Details managing your Edge Device firmware or enabling auto updates can be found in the Tulip Knowledge Base.

On Edge Devices, allows the Torque Multi-Tool OP device driver to be run from Edge devices. Please read this article for more information.

Authentication for EAP-TLS (802.1x) is now available for Edge Devices under Wired and Wireless Network Configurations.
Feature Enhancements
- On the Edge Device Page, under the MQTT Bridge heading, there are now default options for which topics are included and this default list can be configured. This includes:
- events/#
- requests/#
- replies/#
- data/#
- alarms/#
- On the TorqueOP, the torqueOP driver now allows you to select job numbers greater than 99.
Bugs
- Fixed an issue in OS60.1 and higher, where the UI showed that NodeRED V1 and V3 were shown while the system actually has NodeRED V3 and V4 installed.
