Features and Improvements
App Editor
- Standardized naming conventions in Widgets and Triggers ("Table" instead of "Tables") to enable easier copy-pasting of Expressions. This only changes the displayed name to app builders, not the expressions themselves, and has no impact to Development or Production Apps.
- Added search capability to the variable picker in the trigger editor, making variables easier to find when building logic. This was requested by our Community members here!
App Export/Import
- Added an instructional message when an app cannot be exported due to it referring to two tables with the same ID.
Table settings
- Table settings now remain across sessions (View Metadata Fields, Text wrap header cells, Text wrap record cells), to reduce administrator overhead in specifying their preferred settings each time. This was requested by our Community members here!
Player
- Added a new setting, "Users Share Interface on Same Device", in the Player Misc Settings to control interface sharing behavior when switching between authentication methods. This setting is automatically enabled for installations using SAML or LDAP authentication, and also defaults to enabled for new installations to prevent interface deregistration issues.
Bug Fixes
Release 340 contains multiple bug fixes:
Referenced Ticket | Description |
---|---|
PLAT-47951 | Fixed a bug where OAuth tokens were not cleared for HTTP connectors upon configuration updates. Users will now need to re-authenticate upon the next connector function usage after configuration changes. |
PLAT-47935 | In Import/Export, fixed an issue where app exports did not include PDF files referenced in the Document or CAD widgets. |
PLAT-47876 | Fixed a UI bug where connector functions have been incorrectly marked as a snapshot in the trigger editor. |
PLAT-47347 | Fixed an issue where, when two image input widgets were on the same step, if the first widget input used the back-facing camera, then the second input widget would not function. |
PLAT-47323 | Fixed an issue where some linked table record fields in Tables were corrupted, preventing the table's import and export. This corrupted metadata has no impact on users. |
PLAT-47280 | In Scheduled Automations, fixed an issue where the first run didn't execute correctly when the Automation timezone didn't match the Workspace timezone. |
PLAT-46033 | Fixed an issue where, when multiple image input widgets were on the same step, after capturing one image on a widget, the remaining input widgets did not work correctly. |
