Platform Release 332 - August 2025

Release 332 brings updates to several features and bug fixes throughout the platform.

Features and Improvements

The Custom Widget runtime is being re-rolled out and will be available in r332! Read more here.

The Enterprise App Exchange feature now uses the new import/export v2 service. This update is consistent with the features announced as part of the new import/export service. Read more here.

Entra (Azure AD) Service Principal Secret support has been added for MS SQL database connectors. Users can now authenticate using their Entra (Azure AD) service credentials to authenticate with MS SQL Server. Read more here.

Improved the backend to ensure sequential Table Create and Update actions to the same record in the same trigger are transactional (i.e. bundled together in one call to the Table). This avoids partial writes and allows the app builder to create records with a default value. Previously this behavior was available on request.
Flash support has been added to the image input widget, to improve image quality in low-light conditions.

Insights-enabled Automations are deprecated. Importing will now fail for this Automations type.

Release 332 contains multiple bug fixes:

Referenced Ticket	Description
PLAT-46478	Fixed barcode scan behavior so the minimum scan length is only 1 character (it was previously 3). The barcode scan still requires a new line character at the end.
PLAT-23853	Fixed an issue where Android Player was unable to display PDFs and would instead download the PDF to the device. The new behavior is to display the PDF. Note: If you were dependent on the behavior of downloading a PDF, please contact Tulip Support.
PLAT-46298	Fixed an issue where custom widgets using the new runtime would not show up when printing a step from the desktop Player app.
