# Platform Release 380  - August 2026

Release 380 contains updates to several features and bug fixes throughout the platform.

## Features and Improvements

### App Editor

- In the App Editor, clicking the app name now navigates to the App Overview page. Renaming an app and editing its description is now done with the pencil icon next to the name. Previously, clicking the app name opened the rename and description popover.

### App Editor, Triggers

- In the trigger editor, added an "Update to development version" option to the Run Function action menu, which lets app builders swap a function reference from its snapshot version to its development version in one step.

### Enterprise Authentication

- When using SAML for login, the address configured in the "Custom Support Email" account setting is now shown for login errors that a user can resolve. Login errors that a user cannot resolve continue to show the standard support contact.

### Functions

- On the Apps page, a one-time announcement now shows information about the release of Functions and provides links to related resources.
- Functions are now generally available in Tulip. Access Functions from the Functions tab in the apps menu dropdown. See [Functions](https://support.tulip.co/docs/functions) for more information.

### Widget

- The Interactive Table widget column picker now uses a searchable, multi-select checkbox dropdown with "Select all," so multiple columns can be added or removed at once.

## Bug Fixes

Release 380 contains the following bug fixes:

| PLAT-56776 | Fixed a UI bug that could lead to the status of machine data sources, interfaces, and more to be displayed improperly. |
| PLAT-56484 | In the App Editor, fixed an issue where Translated Text values in trigger actions and conditions could appear blank. |
| PLAT-56467 | Fixed an issue where the Tulip Player could hang on the loading screen after login in specific edge cases. |
| PLAT-56430 | Fixed an issue where the online time chart (e.g. for connectors or machine data sources) could display inaccurately when periods of online activity overlap. |
| PLAT-55915 | In the Custom Widget Editor, fixed a bug where prop and event descriptions could not be viewed for read-only Custom Widgets. |
| PLAT-55168 | Fixed an issue where HTTP connector requests could fail to connect to endpoints that reject the TLS 1.3 HelloRetryRequest path. Requests now prefer P-256 TLS key shares. |
| PLAT-54873 | Fixed an issue where CSV import to tables could fail with large CSV files. |
| PLAT-54643 | Fixed a bug where importing a new version into an existing app would break that app's record history. Now, the App Editor reflects the imported version immediately. |
| PLAT-54062 | In the Enterprise App Exchange, fixed a bug where the version list did not refresh after updating an app, and the newly published version appeared only after reloading the page. Now, the version list refreshes automatically. |
| PLAT-53972 | The confirmation email sent when creating a new user with the Operator role now expires after 72 hours instead of 24 hours. |
| PLAT-46779 | Fixed an issue where uploading .xlsm files to a File Input widget on Windows could fail with an "Upload denied" error. |
| PLAT-45884 | When selecting users for app permissions, deactivated users are no longer shown. |
