# Player 2.1.2 Release - March 2023

We're excited to announce the release of Tulip Player version 2.1.2. This is a smaller release that addesses a few issues found in [2.1.0](/r230/docs/player-210).

Version 2.1.2 of Player will be available for download by 9:00PM ET today! If you're using Player devices, the next time you restart the application, the application will automatically check for updates and prompt you to install the latest version. Alternatively, you can manually initiate the update process. Use the discussion thread in [Tulip Community](https://community.tulip.co/t/tulip-player-2-1-2-discussion-thread-march-2023/7948) to let us know what you think of this update. ### Feature Enhancements and Improvements.

- Updated the version of chromium to v110. This will come with a long list of improvements including improved render performance.
- Added support for Basler Cameras within Tulip Vision (in factory version r245/LTS10+).

### Bugs Fixes and Performance Improvements

- Minor improvements to the "Update Now" button within player that were being impacted in some languages.
- Upgrade of some of the underlying libraries used by Tulip vision to improve the stability of Player
- Improved support for proxy logins across all languages.
