Let us know your thoughts and questions in the [Tulip Community thread](http://community.tulip.co/t/16623). ## Features and Improvements ### Analytics - In Analytics, interval columns now support a per-column display format: Automatic, hh:mm:ss, mm:ss, or total seconds. The chosen format applies to both the analysis display and CSV export, so exported duration columns are uniform and can be summed or averaged reliably in spreadsheet tools. ### Connector Function - In the trigger editor, opening a searchable dropdown now places the cursor in its search box, so you can start typing to filter the list right away. ### Connector Page - The warning indicating that in-use On-Prem Connector Hosts need upgrading is now visible on the Apps and Dashboards landing pages as well as connectors. ### Connector Page, Connectors Page - Connectors and machine data sources can now be filtered by type, and connectors can additionally be filtered by workspace. ### Interface, Station - The Stations list page now loads faster on sites with large numbers of stations. The stations shown, along with sorting, searching, and filtering, are unchanged. ### Stations Page - On Shopfloor pages, assigning an interface to a station now always asks for confirmation whenever the change would result in unassigning an interface. The confirmation names the interfaces affected and warns that completion data may not be saved if an app is running on them. ### Table, Tulip Platform - Backend improvement to how Tables create indexes for new columns. Indexes are now created automatically shortly after a column is added, instead of at the moment the column is created. This reduces load on the database when many columns are created. ## Bug Fixes Release 388 contains the following bug fixes: | Referenced Ticket | Description | | --- | --- | | PLAT-58488 | On pages that show online status, such as the Interfaces page, fixed a bug where the browser tab could freeze for several seconds at a time when refreshing status on sites with large numbers of interfaces and users. Now, online status refreshes without freezing the page. | | PLAT-58465 | In Analytics, fixed an issue where running an analysis with an empty expression could produce an error. Now, the analysis shows an incomplete chart configuration message instead. | | PLAT-58361 | In the Driver Configuration page, fixed a bug where a device could briefly appear offline while its online status was still loading. The page now shows a loading indicator until the real status is known, and loads faster on large sites. | | PLAT-58336 | Improved the performance of exporting large App Folders that contain many apps and widgets. | | PLAT-58286 | Fixed a bug where connector function errors could report the wrong cause. Now, a connector that times out reports a timeout, and a connector whose OAuth login could not be completed reports the login failure instead of an expired token. | | PLAT-58177 | Fixed a bug where, in rare circumstances, automation failures could result in prematurely hitting workspace limits. | | PLAT-57958 | Fixed a bug where Connector Hosts could not connect to Oracle databases that require Native Network Encryption, which had stopped working since LTS16. | | PLAT-57566 | Trigger inputs holding a list or an object now report their type over the API in the standard format, rather than a form that was not a valid type. | | PLAT-57545 | In connector function version history, fixed a bug where selecting a different snapshot updated only the URL, not the displayed function until refresh. | | PLAT-57364 | On the Stations page, fixed a bug where if filters were applied on the Interfaces page before navigation, those filters still applied to the interface assignment selector for a station. Now, all interfaces appear as expected. | | PLAT-57316 | Fixed an issue where database index migrations could remove existing indexes before their replacements were ready, causing temporary query slowdowns during platform upgrades. | | PLAT-55865 | Fixed an issue where rapid step transitions or a trigger error could cause a station's triggers to run concurrently or be dropped. | | PLAT-54389 | Fixed a bug where a request to the stations API could fail when a station had corrupt app-assignment data, even for endpoints that do not use that data.
