Platform Release 378 - July 2026

Prev Next

Release 378 contains updates to several features and bug fixes throughout the platform.

Let us know your thoughts and questions in the Tulip Community thread.

Features and Improvements

Account Settings, Connector Host

  • In the Account Settings Connectors tab, admins and account owners can now refresh the credentials of an on-premise connector host. The new secret is shown once, and the connector host must be restarted with the new credentials to reconnect.

Connector

  • Improved error messages for OAuth failures during connector function calls in app triggers and automations. Responses now return specific error codes: a 401 for an expired refresh token and a 424 when the OAuth provider itself fails.

Enterprise Authentication

  • In the Account Settings SAML Migration tab, the user migration tool now matches a user by badge ID when no matching email is found. This only applies to users who have no email.

Tulip Platform

  • The connector host update banner now notes that LTS16 on-premise connector hosts (OPCH) changed their environment variables and links to the documentation, so users know to update their environment configuration when upgrading the OPCH.

Widget

  • The barcode scanner widget now detects inverted barcode (light or white codes on a dark background), in addition to standard dark-on-light codes.
  • The dynamic enable/disable property is now available on checkbox, date picker, file upload, multiline, and image capture input widgets.

Bug Fixes

Release 378 contains the following bug fixes:

Referenced Ticket Description
PLAT-56085 Performance fix to ensure release upgrades complete on instances with large numbers of connector function versions.
PLAT-56014 Fixed a bug where an instance could crash if an Agent chat attempted to generate a table analysis sorted by an invalid or missing column.
PLAT-55928 In Tables, fixed a UI issue where the field label for a linked column could appear blank in the edit column pane if the column had a non-standard ID. This could occur as a result of the legacy, deprecated import/export workflow.
PLAT-55920 In the App Editor, fixed a bug where the signature widget's meaning translation did not update when switching languages, requiring a manual refresh. This bug had no effect in the Player.
PLAT-55897 Fixed an issue in the Player where signing out an operator or cancelling a running app logout could fail with a "no current workspace context" error and block further logouts until the Player was reloaded.
PLAT-55895 Fixed a bug where a failed attempt to report a completion could block further completion reporting and operator logout for a Player session until the Player was reloaded.
PLAT-55862 Fixed an issue in the trigger editor where scrolling could trigger a reload of the editor pane.
PLAT-55660 Fixed a bug in the user groups' "Where used" panel where links to approval types in a different workspace were not rendering.
PLAT-55467 Fixed an issue where the Phidget driver's "List Registered Devices" function declared an outdated output type. This issue could cause triggers that were built after upgrading to Player 2.11.0+ to fail when storing the output into a variable and show the user an "Error processing trigger" error.
PLAT-55462 Fixed a bug where link/unlink record trigger actions did not immediately reflect in widgets or subsequent actions if the linked column has a non-standard ID (e.g., after a link rename).
PLAT-53622 Fixed an issue where the Record History Widget could time out when loading records with long completion histories.
PLAT-53572 Fixed an issue in the App Editor where app builders could receive an error when saving triggers on custom widgets or machine status, multi-select input, and form widgets.
PLAT-42414 Fixed an issue where duplicating a machine data source caused the original data source to go offline. Now the duplicate is created in an unverified state and must be tested before it goes online.
