# Platform Release 317  - May 2025

Release 317 brings updates to several features and bug fixes throughout the platform.

## Features and Improvements

### Automations

- Allow listening to a whole Machine Type in Automations - not just to individual machines.

### Connector

- LTS14 Tulip instances now support LTS13 On-prem Connector Hosts, with a warning to upgrade.
- Support for Pre-LTS14 OPCH has been extended until r321
- Added an indicator for snapshot connectors on the trigger editor

### App Editor

- Simplified the URL to access the app editor. The new URL is /app/APPID/versions/VERSIONID . Old URLs would still work.

### General Improvements

- On the app overview page and the apps page, improved usability of menus by adding icons and making the order of actions more consistent with the rest of the platform. ![image.png](https://cdn.document360.io/7c6ff534-cad3-4fc8-9583-912c4016362f/Images/Documentation/image%28902%29.png)
- Datetime inputs in connector function editor can now be encoded optionally to: Epoch seconds, Epoch milliseconds or ISO8601 RFC3339.
- On the app editor page, keyboard shortcuts are now disabled when a modal window is open, to match user expectations.
- Reorganized and added new widget settings for Single Select Widget in App Editor. Allows wrapping label text and editing dropdown border, color, and radius.

## Bug Fixes

Release 317 contains multiple bug fixes:

| PLAT-44038 | Fix bug in connector-function reconnect logic leading to a partially connected state. |
| PLAT-43776 | Fixes a bug where the "Settings- Stations and Interfaces" tab in Account Settings was not able to properly populate the Station Groups in your instance. |
| PLAT-42940 | Fixes names for link columns erroneously created by version 2 of app export/import with a leading numeral in violation of column naming restrictions, which prevented updates to their parent tables. |
| PLAT-42916 | In the Roles tab on the Users page, we reworded the description for the "Workspace settings > Limited access > Access users > Full access" to show that that permission also allows removal of users from Workspaces. |
| PLAT-42790 | In the Roles tab on the Users page, the checkbox selection for "Map to machine attributes" under the "Machines Data Sources" category is now removed. That permission will now be tied to the "Full access" for "Machine Data Sources" from now on. |
| PLAT-31497 | In the app editor, fixes an issue that now auto-selects the first matching item in the datasource picker component when the user types in an incomplete input. |
| PLAT-43898 | Additional information is provided in the OPCH deprecation banner about the first breaking release. |
| PLAT-41838 | Several issues with the API Documentation page in Tulip have been fixed, enabling the Try It feature to be used. |
| PLAT-12420 | In the app editor, fixes a icon alignment issue when choosing fields for an object in a variable widget. |
