# Platform Release 304  - January 2025

Release 304 brings updates to several features and bug fixes throughout the platform.

## Features and Improvements

### App Editor, Widget

- Some UX clarifications in preparation for the [upcoming Numbers Precision](https://community.tulip.co/t/upcoming-release-numbers-precision/13644) , which will add a validation rule for exact decimal places
  - The wording of "Decimal places" for variable widgets (when a number datasource is selected) is changed to “Maximum decimal places”
  - Popover title is changed from “Formatting” to “Number formatting” on table widgets when selecting a number field precision (only in app editor)
  - The “auto-adjust precision” icon button is changed on table widgets when selecting a number field and renames the tooltip as "Reset to original decimal places"
  - The "Number format" section is changed to "Number formatting" for number input widgets

## Bug Fixes

Release 304 contains multiple bug fixes:

| PLAT-41395 | Fixes an issue, where no heartbeat was reported for the single tenant cloud connector host, which caused the data sources to be rendered offline and show the CH to be shown offline |
| PLAT-41174 | Fix Automations failing when SQL connector function is configured to return multiple rows. |
| PLAT-41149 | Fixes an error when logging in using SAML as an Operator who does not have an email address associated with their account. This is now allowed. |
| PLAT-40902 | Fixes issue, where cloned connector functions maintain fields from snapshot connector, thus making them impossible to edit |
| PLAT-40749 | Fix Automations version page not respecting date custom formats |
| PLAT-39518 | Fix empty blocks in Automations being considered valid enabling publishing the automation with empty blocks. |
| PLAT-37332 | Fix some values being invalid but not correctly marking the logic block as invalid in Automations |
| PLAT-24496 | Fix checking if a record exist having a slightly different behaviour (not trimming the record id) than Create Record or Load Record actions in triggers. This should prevent rare edge cases when using a variable to check if it exists, but then creating the record |
| PLAT-39493 | Fix changing logic block to update data type not including an initial state. |
| PLAT-36647 | Fixes an issue and now tables are sorted in the automation editor in alphabetical order |
| PLAT-24681 | Fix color picker not being closeable once opened in the Automations editor. |
| PLAT-20397 | For the triggers list in the App Editor Read Only mode, fixed incorrectly disabled settings cog and styling. |
