# Mobile Player 2.2.1 Release - June 2023

Version 2.2.1 of Tulip Mobile Player is activly being released across all the app stores! 

The IOS application is available for download [here](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/tulip-player/id1634675541). The link for the Android app is [here](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=co.tulip.player&hl=en_US&gl=US).

### Feature Enhancements and Improvements

* Player will now ask for access to the device microphone as precursor work for some upcoming exciting features. 

### Bugs Fixes and Performance Improvements
Updated a number of the different parts of the release process for the Tulip IOS and Android apps, including some package version updates, and the implementation of automation.
