# LTS14 On-Premises Connector Host

We are excited to announce the release of **LTS14**, the latest long-term support version of the **On-Premises Connector Host**.

With this release, the Connector Host now supports:

- Specifying a **base path** for an HTTP connector environment
- Writing to **OPC UA and MQTT** natively in Tulip
- Allow users to define a default value for **OAuth token** refresh
- A new setting to expose the **clean session** field when creating an MQTT connection
- Various **bug fixes and feature improvements**

### Write to Machine Attributes

You can now write back to your **machine attributes** with **OPC-UA and MQTT data sources** without requiring additional middleware through Tulip.

For more details, see the knowledge base article: [Write to Machine Attributes Using OPC-UA & MQTT](https://support.tulip.co/docs/write-to-machine-attributes-using-opc-ua-mqtt)

### Allow users to define a default value for **OAuth token** refresh

The **"Expires In (s)"** field in the Connector environment configuration settings for OAuth2 integrations now supports default values. This setting provides a **fallback expiration time** if the **`expires_in`** property is missing from the response and a **`refresh_token`** is available.

### Configure MQTT Connectors to Start Sessions with `clean = false`

A new configuration field has been added when creating an MQTT connection. This field determines whether the broker should store messages while the Connector Host is disconnected. Learn more about this [here](https://support.tulip.co/r230/docs/how-to-build-your-first-mqtt-data-source)

### Check if Your On-Prem Connector Host (OPCH) Needs an Upgrade

Starting with **LTS14/r308**, Tulip will enforce version alignment between the **Tulip Cloud and **On-Prem Connector Host (OPCH)** to ensure feature compatibility. Learn more [here](https://support.tulip.co/r230/docs/on-prem-connector-host-version-support).

If your OPCH requires an update, you can check this in the **Account Settings** page when a supported OPCH version is available. The information will include:

- How to upgrade
- Which OPCH version to upgrade to
- When the upgrade needs to be completed
