Assign Onboarding Trainings for New Users

Introduction

This automation is part of the Frontline Training Management app suite and can be used to automate assigning onboarding trainings to new users.

Setup

The automation uses the Automation Starter Table and the Trainings Table.
To run the automation, there must be a log in the Automation Starter Table with the ID Assign Trainings to Users.
If this log is missing, the automation will not run.

Generate Training Assignments

The automation is triggered when the matching record is updated in the Automation Starters table.

The automation then loads the updated record and checks if the Run field is set to true. If yes, it will proceed, otherwise jump to the end.

If the Run field is set to true, the automation will create a training assignment in the Trainings Table for the new user, then set the Run field back to false.
The Run field can be set to true again by the trigger that creates a new user in the Training Manager application, or in any other application where you want to use this automation.
