# Find an Edge Device's OS Version

## How To Find Your Edge Device OS Version

This article explains how to check the version of Tulip OS that your Edge Device is running.

## Checking through the Diagnostics page (supported in all versions)

From the Device Portal, go to the Diagnostics page.

Click on "Contact Tulip" at the bottom of any screen.

**Edge Device**

**Edge Devices** are any hardware intended to connect physical things to the cloud. This can include entirely mechanical devices, older machines without network functionality, PLCs, and more.

Tulip sells the **Edge IO** and **Edge MC** that interface directly into **Triggers** in a breeze, but Tulip can also support other Edge Devices.
