On the machine configuration page, we fixed a similar issue where some buttons for configuring machine triggers were out of alignment. This frees up space on pages for other important content. On the Machine Monitoring page, a new tooltip has been added to the attribute text. Hover over the text to reveal a tooltip providing additional context. This change enhances the user experience by preventing confusion due to text truncation and offering an immediate clarification method. On the Stations page, users can expand the Stations and Station Groups details pane to the left. In addition, apps can no longer be reverted to pre-transition runtime. The preview pane contains details about the automation, such as the event type, its version number, and when it was last published. This pane enables users to see key information about an automation at a glance without needing to open the automation. ![Automations%20Preview%20Pane](https://cdn.document360.io/7c6ff534-cad3-4fc8-9583-912c4016362f/Images/Documentation/Automations%20Preview%20Pane.png) ### Connector Function Block Icon On the Automation Editor, the Run Connector Function action now displays the connector's avatar as the action block's icon if the connector has an avatar. ![Screenshot 2024-02-06 at 3.00.22 PM.png](https://cdn.document360.io/7c6ff534-cad3-4fc8-9583-912c4016362f/Images/Documentation/Screenshot%202024-02-06%20at%203.00.22%20PM.png) ## Bug Fix Highlights Release 272 contains multiple bug fixes that we want to highlight because they were reported by users: - Fixes uncaught runtime error in PostgresSQL connector's backend that can surface from connection errors during long running queries. - Fixed confusing wording in the Custom User Roles sidebar that created confusion around the Player-centric and Stations permissions. - Fixes the issue of lacking a view and run connector function run permission in custom user roles. - On Custom User Roles Beta instances, deleting stations and editing their timezones no longer requires machine permissions. - Fixing an issue, when the Tulip Table referenced without a Placeholder (Read-Only mode) did not get exported. - Fix Custom Widgets firing events when viewing an app preview on the stations overview page. - Fixes the issue of {{SaveForAnalysis}} value not being persisted to the export files, thus lost during the export/import process. - Fix issue where newly added step-level or app-level triggers would not be displayed right away. ## Full List of Ticket ID included in Release 272 If you are tracking any of these tickets and would like more details, please contact Tulip Customer Support via support@tulip.co or live chat through your instance. A workspace should represent a single facility, line, or department. With workspaces, users across facilities can easily collaborate, share their solutions, and improve their global operations. **Analytic** **Analytics** are live updating graphs and metrics calculated based on app data, Table data, and machine data. Where you design a user interface, add logic, and connect your applications to **Tables**. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/7c6ff534-cad3-4fc8-9583-912c4016362f/Images/Documentation/Screen%20Shot%202022-09-13%20at%207.50.23%20AM.png) **Widget** **Widgets** are the elements that make up a specific **App Step.** Widgets can display information to users, collect user input, or trigger app logic. *Common widgets include: Interactive Tables, Number inputs, Machine attribute widgets, and more.* **Station** **Stations** are a digital representation of a physical place or device in your facility. Stations are 1:1 with **Interfaces (display devices)** running Tulip Player, but Stations can also be assigned **Edge Devices,** Tulip Vision Camera Configurations, Machines, and more. **Station Group** A higher-level grouping of **Stations** within an instance. Useful for application management and bulk station configuration. **Trigger** **Triggers** are groups of logic that are tied to an app event, such as step open, timer, widget interaction, etc. App builders can add triggers to **widgets**, **machines**, **devices**, **apps**, and **steps**. **Triggers** can contain **actions**, **transitions**, and **conditions**. **Variable** **Variables** are a location to store app information. Variables have a specific type that must match the contents they can store. Variables are only accessible within a single application and are cleared when the app is restarted or completed. **Automation** **Workflow** that performs tasks in the background, without an interface. Connector Functions can have inputs and outputs, and can be called from: Triggers, Functions, Automations, and AI Agents. Once pulled, data can be used throughout your applications.
